Here is the most popular electric shaver as judged by Amazon reviews.
Panasonic ES-LF51-A Arc4 Men’s Electric Shaver Wet/Dry with Flexible Pivoting Head
From more than 160 customer reviews this shaver has an average rating of 4.6 stars. Says one reviewer:
Don’t even think about it, just buy this razor! I have used Braun and many other brand name electric razors in the past but Panasonic has them all beat hands down.
This is my second Panasonic electric razor and the only reason I purchased a second was to hand down the first razor to my son.
The battery seems to last forever and the blades are second to none. Closest, most comfortable shave available with out using a razor blade and no bloody cuts to worry about.
No, I am NOT affiliated with Panasonic at all. I am just an older gent that thinks they make an excellent electric razor so I am giving them a big thumbs up! I am the type of man that would tell the world about a crappy item so I also have to tell it like it is when I find a excellent product.
By the way the cheapest place I found it was at Amazon.com.
It has a retail price of $250, but at the time of writing was selling for less than $150 at Amazon.
The Today website carries a feature on the best cheap electric razors for Father’s Day. It nominates four.
* Braun M90 Mobile Shaver (photo) is described as “a perfect companion for a road warrior….This is a compact foil razor that comes complete with a pop-up trimmer for a mustache or sideburns.”
* Philips Norelco 6948XL/41 Rechargeable Cordless Razor is “a rotary shaver with a rechargeable battery….Users appreciate the full-size pop-up trimmer, declaring it superior to others in this price range, where many razors lack a trimmer entirely.”
* Remington MSC-140 Men’s Titanium Battery Operated Foil Travel Shaver is “one of those basic models with no pop-up trimmer — no surprise at such a low price. Reviewers say this compact foil razor powered by two AA batteries is ideal for shaving on the go.”
* Remington R3-4110A Cordless Rotary with Pivot and Flex Technology is “another rotary shaver with a cord for recharging….From teens shaving for the first time to nonagenarians with impaired vision or arthritic hands, users find it easy to get a close shave with this razor. Unlike the Philips Norelco rotary shaver, it can be cleaned off under the faucet.”
